HNC-70 Flap Liner

What is Flap Liner?

For the garment that needs perfect waterproofness, it should prevent even one water drop leaking through the stitches. In order to maintain perfect waterproofness, we usually apply seam sealing tape on seam. However, there is one more thing you should care about. It is flap liner which links between outshell and lining.
Normally z-liner cannot support the waterproof function of garment completely. So we suggest HiMEL HNC-70(Flap Liner)instead – the product that complement the limits of normal z-liner.
When use in 20mm(W) * 50 ~ 70mm(L),

The total consumption of flap liner per piece of garment is approx. 1 meter only.

Why HiMEL’s HNC-70(Flap Liner) is recommended

  • Easy to apply
  • Good appearance of liner
  • Competitive price
  • Support perfect waterproofness and wash durability as well
  • Strengthen durability of linking part between liner and outshell

Weakness for normal z-liner

Using normal fabric as z-liner

  • When non-coated fabric is used, water leakage can be occurred.
  • When coated fabric used, coated face can be stuck together after the tumble dry.
  • When composition of liner is different with main fabric, you can face many problems like tension, puckering during sewing process.

Using seam tape fabric as z-liner

  • The hardness of seam tape hinders the elasticity
  • Durability of sewing can be weakened.
  • Glue part of seam tape can be stuck to coated part of fabric during tumble dry due to the high temperature.
  • Difficult to apply
